3rd Week :O

Time is moving really fast, but it's cool. On this week we had to make and excitement pose and a bouncing ball assignment with a feeling of a basketball. I did a revision of last week pose following my mentor critique. So here we go...

For this week excitement pose I tried to do something like a charcoal effect to lead the attention to the center and play with negative space, hope it works :)

2nd week complete

After a lot of changes on the pose, because it looks so static before, finally I'll leave it as it is now and wait until my mentor say something.
It was harder than what I though, because his big head annoys me a lot when I had to move the right arm and leave it away from the head to help the silhouette, and as it's not on the ground it was harder to make him feel alive.

By the way, on yesterday I had my old demo reel reviewed by Sandy Christensen, an amazing animator who worked on pixar, as freelance or in videogames at lucasarts for example, very good tips on the demo and very appreciated to her because all the effort that she puts correcting the shots and giving tips to make it better.

Class 1 Week 2

It's a bit long to explain here, but after the big kit kat that I take on the blog I want to retake again and make a week update at least.

You'll think, why the entry is called Class 1 Week 2, or why I turn to English again haha, but it's because I started Animation Mentor last week.
It's an amazing place, full of people from everywhere of the world who wants to learn animation, so the webpage and all the stuff and people there are pretty cool.

My mentor is Chad Stewart who seems an awesome mentor because all his students talks very well of him, he worked on Simpsons, Tarzan, Fantasia 2000, the emperor's new groove as 2D artist and Surf's up, Stuart Little 2, Open Season...as 3D artist and actually is a freelance.

That's just a brief introduction about what's coming next, so I'll try to keep this updated and I'll put my stu pose at the end of the week, so bye bye!

No sabia si se podia poner antes de que terminarán las votaciones y todo por lo que lo deje para hacerlo ahora. Realmente me falto tiempo para terminarlo y tuve bastantes problemas de gimball, porque al ser un rig nuevo no tuve suficiente tiempo para probarlo y los codos seguian la rotación de las manos y tuve follon, que ahora sabiendolo y desactivandolo será más fácil.

Le falta trabajo como digo, se ve bastante con cosas como que hasta se me paso hacerle el cerrarse de los ojos, que apenás hay, y eso, en fin, este mes no voy a participar porque quiero terminar la otra que tenia a medio terminar y no se si haré el rig del personaje que hize como dije o intentare hacer algunas animaciones asi rapidas, de ciclos de caminar o correr... con el personaje de este video para practicar un poco más con el personaje y con los ciclos claro, y eso, sobre la marcha.

Digo, ahora veo que los videos del youtube no terminan de salir bien, a ver si puedo verlo y arreglar la anchura y eso, y si algun video del youtube no va es porque me petaron la cuenta por copyright cuando realmente denegaron un video que no tenian porque, era un remix y por tanto la propiedad pasaba a ser del que habia hecho el remix, porque él habrá comprado esa propiedad intelectual, y en cambio me pidio abuso el primero, total, que me petaron la cuenta porque hacia mucho tiempo también me habian pedido dos copyrights de padre de familia (como 5 o 6 años atras o más)

La verdad es que el otro dia entre a la pagina de 11secondclub y el audio me gusto mucho, realmente la animación que estaba haciendo esta casi terminada, le faltaba decalar partes para que quedara todo más dinámico pero eso, cogí el audio, me vino una idea y decidi dejarlo que ya lo terminaria, el problema es que como tengo sólo medio mes para terminar lo otro porque se termina el plazo el 31 veo que sino tendre tiempo justillo y he decidido recortar la otra animación de momento y si eso la terminare al finalizar el mes porque apenas le quedaba uno o dos dias de trabajo.

De momento aqui esta un blocking primitivo, y a ver si le puedo meter algo de caña y queda algo decente y guay :)

Rig es Morphy v2 de josh burton que esta de puta madre y el tablero era free por internet de matt clara y lo cogí prestado, pero las fichas no me gustaban y las hice de nuevo en un momento.

Se que dije que una vez terminado el rig en el psl_man pasaria a hacerlo en renton, pero al final me parecio de hacer una escena con este rig, bueno en realidad 2, pero primero empiezo con una y luego quizás por la mitad hago el rig de renton y luego hago la otra o no se, ya veremos.
Y eso, por cosas del tiempo las últimas dos semanas no pude tocarlo mucho y espero que la semana que viene me ponga un poco las pilas, porque con lo que queda de semana tampoco tendré tiempo a avanzar mucho.

Probando de riggear

Se que tenia que riggear el personaje que habia modelado, pero me dije, como lo empiezes a rigear todo y luego tengas algún problema de que has hecho algo mal (hace mucho que no riggeaba nada) sera un fóllo saber si peta la malla porque no esta bien el skin, porque los huesos no son correctos, si he hecho el rig mal...
Asi que me cogi el modelo de PSL del JUR por defecto y empeze a hacerle todo el rig y pasar a apuntes con buena explicación e imagenes como hacer un rig con todos los controles que pueda necesitar y tal.

Falta hacer el skin y terminar de hacer los atributos de algun control, asi como la mano del otro lado, pero vamos, de resultado de momento estoy contento porque no tenia del todo claro que me saliera el rig a la primera, junto con mejoras que no habia hecho nunca, y pese a algun contratiempo solucionado gracias al amigo google, ningun problema :)

Bueno, hoy he tenido un poco más de tiempo y creo que ya esta terminado en cuanto a modelado y texturizado, falta en este render el cinturon bien de color y todo, y quizás algunos materiales se pueden mejorar, pero tengo ganas de ver si lo puedo riggear bien y no falla por ningun sitio ni nada.

Vamos, falta ajustar el brazo que se sale un poco de la manga y creo que los zapatos son algo planos pero es que los de verdad son así, dibujados quedan medio guays, pero como modelo 3D sin tener cordones ni nada solo el pegote blanco y la puntera bien redonda y con pocos detalles no me molan mucho, pero bueno, ahi estamos.

La verdad es que aún le falta quizás más de lo que me pensaba, le añadi los ojos que es un poco difícil, bueno no se, nunca se me han dado bien hacerlos y todo, y aqui al ser grandes rollo anime aún sabia menos como encajarlos, pero creo que lo he hecho más o menos bien.
Ensanche el cabello que creo que aún le falta más porque sino quedaba muy plano apretado, la cabeza no me termina de convencer y lo más seguro es que vuelva a retocarla un poco, a parte que faltan cejas y pestañas y tal, que quizás es por eso que lo veo más raro de lo que es.

Y por otra parte he estado sacando los mapas para texturizarlo un poco, se tiene que arreglar la mano, se tiene que tocar más la camiseta porque le faltan un par de bolsillos, el zapato los normal maps que habia preparado no estan bien porque no tenia el uvw desplegado correcto y tendre que volver a retocarla...

Pero bueno, vamos avanzando con el poco tiempo que puedo sacar, a ver si esta semana lo termino ya de retocar y le empiezo a meter setup, que lo más seguro sea en nada, porque hay ganas ya, pero me da palo empezarlo y luego al cambiar la mano o algo se joda y tenga que rehacerlo todo, por lo que esperare... :(

Tuve que rehacer el cabello porque no tenia bien las uvw...¬¬' vamos, lo exporte en nivel 1, le hize las uvw bien y lo volvi a subir de niveles y volvi a detallarlo más y igual con la cara, que creía que la tenia bien pero sólo tenia la mitad unwrapeada y la otra mitad no :S

en fin, probare de sacar los normal maps a ver si me salen bien y luego pasar la ropa si es que no la tenia guardada con el mudbox (que creo que si), y si no hay ningun problema ya sólo tendre que modelar la plancha de surf y hacer la textura y exportarlo a maya para ver si puedo hacerle un setup rápido que sea decentillo para una animación corta y chula, a ver a ver.

Cada ratito que le doy un poco tengo más ganas de terminarlo ya y riggearlo y animar alguna cosilla pequeña o sacar un render xulo, a ver si no se me va de las manos el tiempo y antes de terminar el mes puedo riggear aunque sea de forma básica el coche y animar una curvilla o algo también, que no se si podre, porque como me vicié a hacer los interiores con el cosido de los cinturones y todo, lo más seguro es que no sea sostenible, pero bueno, borrando el interior y bajando la calidad del exterior yo creo que podria seguir quedando xulillo.

Queria actualizar de vacaciones, pero al final no pude hacerlo como queria y por tanto lo deje al aire, por otra parte, tengo ya los cabellos modelados bastante bien por lo que pasare a esculpir con más ganas en el mudbox tanto los cabellos como arreglar las facciones de la cara, que aunque la quiero hacer algo diferente aun le faltan cosas a arreglar.

Y como dije ayer, demo reel subida ya a vimeo, no se porque no se ha subido en HD, pero de todas formas sale bien de calidad y se puede bajar igualmente en HD, por lo que nada, ahora a disfrutarla y a hacer el personaje.

Dejo el video de la escena del joker entero porque en la reel esta bastante separado y puede que se pierda algun matiz o algo, esta muy cambiado del de hace tiempo, mantuve la base, pero le modifique bastantes poses que estaban mal y ahora esta bastante decente creo, aunque como todo, si lo volviera a hacer ahora seguro que lo haria un pelin mejor, keep working keep improving :).
A ver si para mañana puedo colgar la reel ya teminada, porque como que ya esta, pero ya no me da tiempo a subirla hoy, asi que, hasta mañaninsss!

Vacaciones

Al final despues de tanto trabajo, cosas descartadas e ideas que se han quedado por el camino por no terminar de gustar, creo que por fin he terminado la reel despues de tanto trabajo, a ver si termino de codificarla bien y arreglar el par de fallos que tiene de sincronización con el sonido y tal y la puedo subir, así dejo el trabajo terminado antes de irme de vacaciones y cumpliendo justo con el plazo que me marque de terminarla antes de agosto :)

Y a ver si puedo llevarme el portátil con el blender para terminar el personaje que tengo medio empezado desde hace un tiempo y que deje a medias con algun ratillo que saque por ahí.

Terminé un andar en nieve, tengo personaje medio terminado que estaba la cara mal porque al principio no queria animarlo y luego pense que no costaba mucho hacerlo y que valia la pena, y en lugar de borrarla me maté el otro dia en mover linias y hacer que fluyera de manera decente.

Por otro lado he empezado con una nueva animación de levantar peso, la putada es que se ira a 20 segundos lo más seguro, pero me he hecho timetables y a parte de grabar, he sacado los frames de poses claves y dibujarlos y todo antes de grabar y despues, por lo que quiero probar de hacer los 20 segundos en semana y media, o dos si el tiempo me lo permite para ver hasta donde puedo llegar, de momento en dia y medio lo llevo bastante bien creo, mañana ya empezare con intermedios y creo que de momento de poses claves y todo esta bien estructurado, por lo que será rápido, a ver a ver.

A todo esto, dejo una imagen parida desde otro angulo para que esto no quede tan abandonado como parece.

Realmente no es que este sin hacer nada aunque no actualize, pero la verdad es que actualizar y recibir 6 o 7 comentarios de mierda spam, borrarlos y que vuelvan a salir y tal es una rallada.

Al final me decidi por hacer la animación de dexter y la terminé hace dias, por el camino intente participar en un concurso de creación de un logo en vectores (los cascos estan hechos en 3D y estilo toon para usarlos de referencia luego) pero no lo pude ganar, y bueno, cogí el norman y lo retoque algo, al renderizar lo de dexter me di cuenta que el cuello y una pierna estaban sin smooth al aplicarselo desde el atributo por lo que se lo he añadido, y para la animación de ahora le añadí un gorro de ir a la nieve riggeado para poder moverle las orejeras y le hice unas botas también, así pues me faltará terminar esta animación que será corta espero, creo que haré 3 o 4 ciclos de andar y poco más me faltará, quizás termino el personaje que hacia y lo rigeo en un momento, pero la verdad es que tiempo no me sobra a ver sobre la marcha el tiempo que me da.

599gtb rotation

Terminé ya hace una o dos semanas el bajar las escaleras y lo tengo rendeado ya a falta de juntar las capas.
Por otro lado prepare la animación de rotar del 599gtb y le arreglé las puertas y tal, que el centro de mandos del interior habia petado la malla y la tuve que rehacer y tanto el agujero del deposito como los de la puerta los modele bien porque los tenia hechos por booleanas por eso de que cuando lo terminé estaba rallado de este proyecto y sólo queria terminarlo ya y sacar un par de renders y empezar con algo nuevo.

Así pues, material del 599 retocado (sigue siendo rojo, sólo que he tocado el color para juntar la secuencia ahora para probar el After Effects que estoy acostumbrado al fusion) y bien modelado y tal, tengo los wires también sacados para luego hacer la animación de pasar de render a wire para la reel y ahora empezaré a buscar una frase para hacer un acting de primer plano hablando, porque tenia una secuencia de Dexter que me gustaba, pero el otro dia viendo Casablanca me apunte unos segundos que creo que pueden funcionar, a ver que lo encuentre y lo pueda pasar de .mkv a video para trabajar.

la verdad es que hace un tiempo que no doy señales de vida, pero he tenido un setiembre un poco olvidado, en fin, tengo demasiadas cosas que hacer y demasiado poco tiempo pero por ahí van saliendo cosillas, tengo que renderizar de nuevo la escena del coche para cambiarle la iluminación a los coches y como tengo mil ficheros de esa escena no se cual es el actualizado y cual no, y con lo que pesa como para andar mirando y sacando renders de prueba...xD

Luego empezé con un personaje que más o menos tiene la cara terminada pero que paso de subir contando que le faltan cabellos y todo el cuerpo y tal y que es rollo anime, por lo que tampoco es nada del otro mundo en cuanto a high modeling, y contando que al final creo que haré la reel sólo de animación y si eso pondre todas las cosas de modelado al final rollo cambio rápido y ya esta, porque si tengo que meterme en luego hacerle el rig al personaje, que funcione, hacer una animación con el personaje se me irá todo de las manos, otra vez, en cuanto a tiempo.

Y por otro lado he empezado esta semana con esta animación de bajar una escalera, que en teoria deberia ser más larga pero creo que lo dejare asi almenos de momento para poder probar de animar otros rigs que no sean norman y tal y porque seria muy larga tal como la tengo pensada y como siempre como más largo menos calidad si no incrementas el tiempo proporcionalmente bien.

Y todo eso junto con intentar sacarme el carné de conducir hacen que los dias sean efímeros y no tenga tiempo para nada -.-

HQ Drift battle finish

lo he terminado hace rato pero ahora antes de ir a dormir he pensado si subirlo o no y digo , boh, vamos a ello, esta renderizado en 3 pases en 3DS Max+Vray (montaña, suelo) asfalto-guardarail y los dos coches, todo con sus capitas de reflection, specular, shadows, ambient occlusion... y con capas "especiales" para conseguir alphas, como solo la montaña sin lo de debajo o los faros, y a parte con otros pases de render para sacar las luces volumetricas o el streak de la luz por separado, al igual que el mapa del Zdepth para hacer un dof con el dofpro de photoshop.
Asin, que eso, en teoria se queda así y para la demo reel ya pondre la composición con las capas asi por encima.

asi esta quedando la cosa, en postpro, vamos, la postpro es más bestia que en lq y hay un monton de capas diferentes para ayudar en las sombras, luces...a parte que he tenido que crear capas especiales renderizando trozo solos para reforzar algunas areas de la imagen, y basicamente he tardado tanto en eso porque a 1080 me ha sido imposible sacarlo, era tirar render y petar el max, por lo que al final esta a 1280x720, renderizado por partes y con partes que no se veian ocultas o borradas para que se pudiera finalizar, que por ejemplo la montaña esta a saco sin displace ni nada y ocupa unos 2 millones de polis ya que era la única forma que la luz quedaba bien encima de ella y no habia los follone stipicos del displace/normal a parte de quedar en primer plano.

En fin, es tarde y eso, falta añadir motion blur a la carretera, hacer un desenfoque de campo, y hacer correciones de colores que aun no esta hecha ninguna y hacer un tintado por encima para darle algo más de vidilla, por lo que nada, hasta no se cuando porque supongo que lo terminare mañana pero luego ya me veo liado instalando cosas al portatil y buscando posibles ejercicios para ahcerlos en vacaciones y no perder el pistón de la demo reel.

Por lo que supongo que esto quedara asi hasta finales de agosto, si es que no me decido a subir la imagen final a 720 antes 8-)

Drift lowq finish

En realidad no va a ser asi asi, pero es simplemente una prueba en 504 para ver por donde tirara luego la imagen a 1920 de resolución y si podia hacer más o menos todo como queria, vamos, el motion blur aqui esta por photoshop cuando voy a tocarlo por 3D directo y esas cosas a parte que me faltaba una capa para poder hacer bien el quemado de las luces frontales, pero que luego sacarlo en grande habiendolo planteado en pequeño es más fácil. Por lo que nada, a ver si los renders (que tienen pinta que serán infernales con calidad uber) salen a tiempo o me tengo que ir de vacaciones por el medio 8-)

Vamos, por ejemplo aqui las sombras estan mal y por eso da la sensación de estar puesto encima de golpe, pero no me fije y ya tenia los renders tirados, y como sólo era para probar pues nada, tampoco me importaba tanto como para tirar otra vez el render aunque este fuera rápidito.

Como era previsible se ha vuelto todo en caos y anarkia, he perdido un par de dias intentando aprender ha usar partículas para hacer el humo de las ruedas, hasta que he desistido al ver que era demasiado difícil, me refiero, me quedaban como si fueran nubes y tal, y algo grises, y en teoria al quemar rueda asi a lo fino sin petar neumatico haciendo burnouts tan solo es una capita fina de blanco blanco y ya esta, por lo que sera más fácil en photoshop supongo, aunque mi idea principal era hacerlo directo.

Luego esta el iluminar que he perdido todo el dia de hoy probando iluminaciones, probando digo porque es un follon, putos coches reflejantes, metes una puta luz y quema la carroceria al ser estas reflexivas, y pam, por cada luz que pones tienes follon en calibararla, junto con que es una escena pesada ya de por si por el modelado y tal, pues interminables horas de probaturas para poco o nada.

Me sigue quedando una iluminación demasiado plana para mi gusto, pero al ser de noche en un principio, pues tiene que ser toda la ilu muy sutil para que no quede demasiado claro y boh, un lio, porque a parte de la carroceria también estan los cristales, que reflejan como quieren, porque les pones una spot para marcar más la sombra del coche como apoyo a la general, y pam, el cristal de detras justo se queda quemado y tienes que mover la luz un poco y bajarle intensidad y tal y cual, junto con los cristales de los faros, que ale, un par de luces para cada uno, una para hacer luz y sombras de las cosas, y otra para iluminar el cristal sin que ilumine nada más y quede quemado.

Y a todo esto se le suma el tener que hacer el neumatico quemado en el asfalto, que si, a priori seria facil, el problema es que todo el asfalto es procedural, con mil capas de smoke y bumps, y capas dentro de capas para hacer la suciedad de los lados... por lo que es bastante lio tocarlo ahora.

A parte de todo esto toque también el shader del ferrari para hacerlo algo más reflexivo y que se quemara un poco menos al caerle luz encima, pero por el momento dejare solo un ambient occlusion para que se vea como anda ahora, que también hay piedras que creo que en la ultima actu no habia.

Se que dije que estaria hace tiempo, pero me he pasado dos semanas practicamente en blanco que no he podido hacer nada con el pc por lo que dejé la escena en out hasta hoy practicamente, y la verdad, podia haberlo terminado en un dia de trabajo más tal como iba, pero me dije, boh, tiene que ser para la reel por lo que mejor currartelo un poco más con la de trabajo que ya hay hecho y asi aprendo mejor a iluminar que siempre voy algo pez.

Por lo que la escena se pasa a noche tal como iba a ser en un principio y que habia desestimado al hacer pruebas por encima y ver que era muy quebradero, por lo que eso, voy a seguir con ello y a ver si termina bien o no.

Aun le queda bastante, sobretodo en postpro que la he hecho asi por encima para ver como quedaba si con los shaders que tengo y luz puedo hacer algo guay, y parece que tocando bien y sacando las capas buenas hay de sobra, por lo que arregle un poco más la luz de como esta ahí y a ver si mañana me pongo un rato despues de ver Dexter y por la tarde y la dejo medio terminada, que yo y el motion blur no somos muy amigos porque siempre me paso de bestia xD

Ya terminé con el joker como dije, lo saque a 720p renderizandolo todo de nuevo y con el shader y el render un poco tocado para el fondo para que saltara menos al moverse la camara, y junto a eso arreglé el brazo que habia un momento que se quedaba lol atrasado y luego saltaba porque sin querer habia tocado el hombro y no me habia dado cuenta porque era de hace tiempo, y a la vez arregle un par de veces de clipping entre la mano y la mesa.

Por lo que abandoné eso y me meti con el rig y a pasar todos los apuntes al pc, más que nada porque idiota de mi los hicé a lápiz y empezaban a borrarse xD
Vamos, que llegué en cuenta que de rig más o menos me acordaba de todo aunque en un par de sitios tube problemillas por no acordarme si se tenian que hacer padres, no, o que, pero en fin, tal como lo hizé parece que todo va bien -.-

Así que dejando todo eso de lado y que ayer queria modelar algo, pues me modele un casco rapidito para una escenita que tengo en mente y ya medio hecha.
Queria meterles alguna pegata o algo, pero con coches de "calle" no pega mucho, a parte que me volví medio loco para sacar una uvw decente porque al tener el hueco de la visera no es lo mismo que sacar el uvw a una cara, y para tirarme 3 horas para poner una banderita y que quede bien y no se corte mal por el uvw pues ale, lisos y a correr, que es lo que importa jojo

Terminado creo, falta sacarlo a 720p para tenerlo en calidad y hacerle un set de luces algo más decente, que no lo he tocado desde el ejercicio final del curso, a parte que al hacerlo más grande seguramente me toque tocar los materiales para que no flickeen en el fondo. A parte de esto también no se si me termina de convencer que cuando lo clava en la mesa la camara aun se esta moviendo y no se ve del todo bien como la mesa se mueve, yo lo he visto 1000veces y ya se que se mueve, pero no se si puede crear confusión a otras personas, por lo que se queda así de momento y dependiendo de la gente abrire algo más el campo o no se.

En fin, esta semana intentaré sacarlo a 720p a ver si tengo tiempo para dejarlo renderizando y hacer bien lo comentado y me voy a poner a riggear ahora, que hace mucho que no hago nada y tampoco es que me sobre como para olvidarme xD y de paso intentare hacer algun ejercicio de Zbrush estos dias, que hace que no lo toco desde la 2.5 y igualmente por entonces sólo sabia lo básico y poco más, por lo que a seguir tutoriales ^^

Esta sin motion blur ahora que lo pienso, pero eso.

Hace un par de dias que tenia ganas de actualizar pero tampoco sabia con que, como total no lo lee nadie y viene a ser un diario personal dejaré el inglés aparcado de momento.

La verdad es que todo este tiempo he estado medio parado, hice una escena para donan en un par de dias para que publicará un libro de D&Di la postpro y parte de los shaders los hizo él porque era contrareloj.

un par de meses estudiando sobre narrativa y guiones, con el visionado de una peli por dia como reto personal, y llevo esta semana arreglando la escena del joker que tenia bastantes fallos, a ver si para la semana que viene la puedo subir, que ahora me iré y hasta el lunes.

Más o menos esta toda terminada, falta decalar cuando empotra al negro que es chungo al haber dos cuerpos interactuando y encima teniendo que clavar el golpe con el sonido y hacerle un par de dardos al principio al joker y unos cuantos al negro para darle vidilla que parece medio muerto, y nada, dejo un render de cuando psl, y haber si arreglo el del footlocker y lo subo que lo tenia bien y se me borro el pen -.-

Mud Mud Mudbox

Yep, Zbrush it's a very good soft, may be the 3.1 it's a bit better than mudbox, but the interface sucks a lot and scares me, and the other day taking a walk around the net I found mudbox that was adquired by autodesk and I though lets go to prove it, and yep, may be it's less powerful in terms of polys or the lack of good materials... but well, I feel more confortable with it in 2 days than with Zbrush an entire month xD
Yep, I know that I have to improve a lot, but with mouse it's hard to do eyes and mouth :(
A new scene started today.

And well, I think that I'm gonna make the scene that neo stops bullets, 'cause I watch a photo today of that scene and, fuck, it's very easy to do (I think), one bullet x 100, blur and anything more xD.

3Ds Max & Vray, I did it a long time ago, then I remade some parts (most of them) to make it better, and well, now that I have a nice pc I take a render with a decent light.

Car it's a Honda S2000 with front and rear bumper from sorcery (nsx adapt) and the other parts from veilside kit with a racing hart cxr, sha_do asked me to erase the front and rear from veilside and make it like that ^^

I think that I need something more futuristic, well, more actual, with more intensity but at the same time without braking the pastel harmony. And i have to though how to make the floor, cause wood or marble will be a bit...out of place, may be a bit of fur 8-)

I finish the s2000 2 or 3 days ago, but I was trying to put the scene with a nice ilumination and it's impossible to handle, max crash every time because it needs more ram that what I have xD
The second car have a white material, the first one have a white with blue reflection, both of them mades in
I will try another time tomorrow, but I don't have a big hope xD

Long time since last upload. During these days I was working a bit with s2000 but not a lot. And yesterday I saw a bad render of an iPod and I though to do it better, and here it is xD
It needs a bit of work on reflections (glass) and now that I'm watching the render I miss to put the hold and headphone icon on the top of the iPod xD

I fix the displace map of the tire and I make one for the wheel and center logo.

There are two clay renders of the interior too, and now, I have to try to model some things, but with my left hand will be difficult.

Well, yesterday I changed the interior door but it still needs a lot of work, something like 30minutes with my right hand...4 hours for my left¿? yes, I think so xD

I'm gonna try to update with something new tomorrow, may be some interior shots with some textures applied.

Patim, Patam, Patum, I make a proper uvw map for tires and I'll put a displacement map, I think that works well, but may be I'll fix a little the upper part. It needs a new diffuse map too but I'm gonna make it tomorrow.
I'll put the lights a bit down and I play a little with the reflection and the color of the body shader (now it's more "pastel")

I think that looks nice, a little "hdrnanium" for the colors but nice.
I put more subdivisions for the light that now is more accurate than before, and the shader have more height for the reflection and more subdivisions too.

Playing with shaders

I think that for a first time in my life I made a good shader xD.
It's a vrayblend material, with a standard orange on the principal channel, the shader of the other day blending at 50% and another one with a perfect orange reflection (chrome material) in another channel with 30-35%.
The result seems a little unreal 'cause seems a little plastic but I think that seems more like a real car(like studio car it's better the other shader maybe), and now the mesh errors are more visibles xD like the one of the door, but I'm gonna fix these bugs when my hand returns funtionality like always before xD

The blog was a lil' death these days for an unfortunate turn of destiny. I've my right hand break, the story of why I broke my hand is a bit complicated to explain, but basically I punch a fuckin wall and I broke my right little finger in the part of the hand, the articulation, and the finger displaced, and now I have my right hand with two "sheets of steel" coz they've got to make me a surgical intervention.

And well, like I've got my left hand ok, I'm trying to do experiments with light and shaders, coz with my left hand I can't model :(

I know that it's a while since my latest update, but I'm working hard these days (not all that I want).
But well, I'm doing textures for all the scene of the parking, like the parking was inspired by a small scan of famitsu about the new tokyo xtreme racer of x360, and was two weeks ago when it was released in spain, i've got to finisih this one jeje.
Like you could appreciate if you've got the game, it's a little different, coz I made the scene based on a little scan when the game didn't go out.

It's still a WIP, and i've got to retouch some textures like the one of the asphalt and make some news like the ones of the wall.
